Title might be a reach. But there's this huge confusion among lots of men across the world about how to attract women.

I understood this when I was about 17 or 18. The way to attract heterosexual women is to be attractive. It's a no brainer. But people are offended. Guys are offended by it. The women folk are also offended.

Why do you have to do so much mental gymnastics saying you have to be nice, act a certain way, make a lot of money, get a good job, be smart, be generous; when all that truly matters is appearance.

When I understood this, I became very serious about improving my appearance and women do treat me better. It truly is the basis of any relationship. Everything else can come later and they do matter. But they aren't the basis of attraction. The basis is attractiveness. Ofcourse, some women do compromise on looks for economic and maybe social reasons. I've seen my friend's wife do that. But that would be utterly unfulfilling.

Why do the grown up figures lie to young boys?

Why can't they tell them to work on their appearance?

Ofcourse, there is no one thing that is attractive to all women. But there are many that are attractive to many which work for many and also go with the styles of many guys.

The reason I'm mentioning this is because last night, my brother's son was casually asking what he can do to get a girlfriend. His mother was there, they were visiting me. I adviced him to focus on his appearance and mix that up with hobbies that appeal to a greater number of kids of both genders. That way, he'll make male friends and female ones alike. He'll see the positive feedback from improving his appearance from both boys and girls. Sister in law was super offended regarding the appearance thing. She did disagree with me and thought I was calling my nephew fat and nerdy. I didn't say anything. I don't argue with people who don't care for my perspective and just want to lash out.

I don't get the reasoning behind this attitude.
