Wild story that just happened at the grocery store lol

Walking down a grocery aisle and I see the back of a guy talking to a cute girl, and we make eye contact, as I walk past I can hear him calling her beautiful, asking for her number. He didn’t give up after she gave him the ‘I have a boyfriend’ line.

I walk past with my grocery basket and accidentally knock over a display stand (lol) and she jumps at the opportunity to ‘help’ me and leave the guy.

Without any introduction she’s debriefing to me about how the creepy guy was hitting on her and asking for her number, and I’m asking her questions and she’s very thankful for me listening as she felt very uncomfortable and needed to speak about what happened.

She said she was new to the area and needed recommendations for nice bars to grab a drink etc (that was my sign)

She’s touching my arm already while she’s talking and I know she’s highly interested so I ask for her to put her number into my phone. She leaps at the chance and makes sure to put ‘grocery store’ after her name in my contacts so I ‘remember’ her.

Long story short:

I unintentionally interrupted a cold-approach at the grocery store and ended up with her number!

Conclusion:

For some context I am a good looking guy and I do decently well on apps, but as someone who has just started trying to cold approach it shocked me how forward some women can be, this definitely helps ease me in and gain more confidence to do more approaches.
