My ex announced she was pregnant a short time after our divorce. She waited the six months plus one day and remarried her Affair partner. They filed for divorce shortly after the kid was born.

She was 42 now working on her second divorce with a new baby at home. The idiot she cheated with calls me to find out what lawyer I used because he wanted to use her too.

Since this all went down she cut all communication with our kids. It’s been a constant custody battle with her AP. She doesn’t let him see the kid.

The last conversation I had with the AP was asking if he understood when our divorce was final why I smiled and said “she’s your headache now”. He finally got it.

These kinds of things are EXACTLY why people should be very very obscure as to what they say here or any reddit forum. or anything online for that matter. Also why they Should in ALL CASES talk to an attorney BEFORE doing anything like recording or posting online.

OP if it's any help, these things are pretty common. From an ex who remarries position... the new married person WANTS to cement the new marriage and the best way to do that is to have a kid. So there you go.

FYI Second marriages last an average of 7 years. So just wait you will probably see how this unfolds. In most states exes seem to believe that having kids from different spouses is a 2x or 3x type thing. In most cases the ex only gets the increase from child 1 to 2 or whatever so the second exspouse does not take the hit of a full 1 child child support.

and just think that new kid has 18 years of support associated with it's new life! So congrats to new dad right?

My coworker had a baby at 55 y/o with his 28 y/o partner. And his older kids were graduating highschool. I can't imagine starting over like that. With the sleepless nights and diapers. No thank you.

At such age, she is at higher risk of getting a sick child (Down syndrome to name one)
DNA parental test if u had other kids(Dont ask/tell her). You cant be sure when she started cheating.
