If all a woman brings to the table is her being a pretty toy, then of course she's going to be passed over when her fertility indicators (which we perceive as her attractiveness) begin to fade. You seem to be here over concerns about the opinions of, in your own words, "delusional men." I would advise you to shift your focus. High-value men aren't obsessing over a woman’s age. They’re looking for peace, loyalty, femininity, and a partner to build with.

You might think this after reading some things online but life does not end after 30. You don’t become less sexy after you turn 30. I don’t think the vast majority of men believe that, just the chronically online ones who probably harbor a lot of bitterness against women (whether it’s warranted or not) or they have qualities about them that make them unfavorable husbands to women. Even many conservative, older, unmarried guys don’t pursue women in their 20s, they actually do want women closer to their age, at least 30.

I’m 33 and had a major glow up a few years ago. I learned the right exercises to do and foods to eat, skincare, etc. I realized 30s are still young once I got here. I’m what you said - sexy, fertile, like to have fun, etc. It might sound old in your 20s but I look the same as I did in my 20s, I just have a lot more wisdom.

But aside from still being sexually appealing and physically fit at my age… I got married young to my husband and we have four little kids together. I help him every single day so he can focus on his career, hobbies, etc. I support him in life, I know him better than anyone else, I know how to help him relax after he gets home from work, I know his favorite foods that he wants me to cook and keep stocked in the house, I make sure he has time for the gym and hanging with friends, I know the right way to deal with his difficult family members so he doesn’t have to, I know what he likes in the bedroom, I let him vent about work/life to me, I watch his shows with him, I respect and welcome his parents into our lives like my own family, I always back him up regarding parenting decisions with our kids, I know when is a good time to have important conversations and when I should wait, I’m down for whatever activities he wants to do, and soooo much more. I do these things because I am his wife and we are a family.

Women bring so much more to a marriage than just sex and keeping up good looks the best you can. Though those things should always be a part of your marriage, that’s just a small part of what a wife does for her man and her family.

On top of other things listed here, what people say and what they do are not always compatible. I knew someone who was absolutely savage to everyone in her life, including her "alpha" husband, who has nearly left her over her behavior twice and who attempts not to have sex with her so that they don't have yet more children. Her MIL actually contacted me in secret once after I cut contact because she was so concerned about the escalating verbal abuse. Online, this same woman presents herself as a SAHM with a balanced traditional marriage, and she readily dispenses advice.

Many peoples' online personas, particularly the anonymous variety, are just a coping tool because they're miserable in one way or another. Plenty of men with weird online accounts will fake it until they make it IRL. Of course, some won't. Some will actually let it ruin their lives, and that's sad for them and the people who try to love them.

There seems to be this widespread belief among men that once a woman reaches 30 she’s basically expired goods. No longer sexy/young, less fertile, not as beautiful and alluring/exciting to be with.

So if many of you men think this (I’m not saying all, but a lot), why do men even bother to get married? Why not just date young 20-something year old women and replace them with new young women once they get too old for your liking? Why not just date around then dump them when they’re 25 like Leonardo DiCaprio? I don’t understand why men go through the hassle, commitment, and financial loss of marriage if many of you just end up getting bored, resenting, and divorcing/leaving your wives anyways once she’s not young and shiny anymore.

In men’s TRP space, that’s kinda what they’re going for - marriage under gov is a scam, acceptance men are never going to be loyal to one woman, only the woman should be, and that is to be enforced by him in a way she cannot go any further up the him against the hypergamy drive through advice like make her feel perpetual “dread” etc. This makes men circle back to justifying retiring their 30 something woman who stopped being fun and hot, regardless if she were a “ride or die” woman or not. It’ll be harder to do that when married because leaving him for cheating is justification for her to take what she can in shared assets in court.

I think only on r/RedPillWomen there is a strong belief in marriage with 99% of female adherents. I think within the next decade women in this space would also consider marriage a scam for them too - why lock in when you can be replaced, or demoted to house cleaner and personal assistant when he can outsource an easy/loose woman on the side to satisfy him, or chat or ogle women online for free at a swipe, or for a fee. You wouldn’t sign a legally binding document to work for one amazing company forever if they find you demoteable & replaceable. Everyone under 50 at time of writing in the West was raised in an independent, nuclear family lifestyle. We are all focusing on ourselves and have put up fortresses against the people outside of ourself, both men & women. Let’s see how this pans out for the West..

That’s all in context of initial forming of romantic relationships.

It’s not like once you get married and form a life together she hits 30 any you wanna trade her in or something. Her value to him changes from the hot little piece to his wife, partner, better half.

Let’s face it, by 30+ most women are no where near as hot as their early to mid 20’s counterparts. They are still fertile until about 35 give or take, but it falls way off after that. No guy really wants to feel that time pressure. Sure they may want to have a wife and kids, but don’t really have a timeline or pressured to. Relationships are hard enough without that added stress. Yeah it’s kinda chicken shit, but it is what it is, women have their chicken shit desires and odd feelings too so we’ll just let it be.

And also by 30+ generally speaking she’s been through a lot and probably has some traumas and biases, responsibilities that makes dating harder, or at least more complicated, stressful.

So all women start off as a blank slate for later, have the potential to become a wife. By 30+ she’s not as hot and harder to date. “Expired goods” is an overly harsh way to say not as good an option, though she still may be quite a good option, there are “better” out there. At least according to his desires and feelings.

Relationships are like an investment or purchase of sorts. Sorry to dehumanize it. Men for women are like stocks, you “buy” one hoping you bet on one that grows. Yeah you want it to look good, but its growth potential is what’s most important. Women are more akin to automobiles for men. When he buys one, he’s looking for the prettiest, most reliable and exciting one he can afford but it is going to get some dents and dings, rack up some mileage and lose “value.” However he depends on it, it’s his livelihood and unless he’s got it like that he’s going to value it until he can’t anymore, it gets stolen or becomes so unreliable he has no choice but to replace it.

They’re not the best analogies but they’re pretty apt. A good stock pays dividends. If a guy manages to get his dream car he’s never going to get rid of it. A stock can be cheap but grow making you rich, or it can crash and leave you messed up. A good car is never cheap but your life revolves around it (in most places) and the more miles on it, the older it is the more owners it’s had the less reliable it usually is.

Somehow when men say they like beautiful women, women assume they mean „only beautiful”. Women in their 20s are beautiful in both physical non-physical ways (character). When beauty fades with time, there are still other components of attractiveness left (being kind, loyal etc).

When a semi-beautiful woman is single after 30, it means that her character was a put off. And she is left with neither physical nor character beauty. Hence, not worth pursuing

You are combining 2 very different things together and getting them somehow confused.

Marriage.

And the wall.

Let me see if I can simplify both for you from a male perspective.

Marriage:

The idea of marriage for a man is commitment to building a life together and a family.
To a man marriage isn't a transactional relationship where you trade up for a new wife once your current one "expires" like she's a gallon of milk needing to be replaced.

To a man a wife is someone who brings peace into his life. Who makes him feel respected and seen. And who has values he wishes to see passed down into his children. Amongst other positive things.

The wall: Ultimately this isn't actually even about the woman herself... But I'll get to that.

Hitting 30 a woman's youth and fertility begin to rapidly fade. (On average). Not everyone is the same and some, women actually appear more beautiful with age up until a point. Filling out and appearing even more fertile. Those indicators are important. Fertility is the focus here. But in general. Around this age most women tend to hit a point of no return when it comes to long term relationships.

Consider the timeline for a relationship. You date for a few months casually. Seriously for 2 years or so. Then proposal. Another year or so. And then marriage. By this point she's already 33/34. 35 is already the big date when fertility begins to become dangerous for some women. And conception can take anywhere from a lucky day to years.
For some marriages this can take 5+ years.

So for a man. The later into her life the woman is .. into the multi year process the more dangerous this becomes for his future offspring.
We aren't looking at a woman as who she is today alone. We are looking at what she will be 5 years + down the line when children are on the menu. And it's ultimately not even about her entirely. It's about what is best for them.

Lastly. About the women who realize around 30 they are hitting the wall and need to now become serious about having a family.

A woman who spends her early twenties sleeping around instead of realizing that her future is literally on a timer tells a man that she is not relationship and family focused. It indicates that she is more likely impulsive and selfish. These are not traits you want in someone you want to build a stable peaceful life with. Therefore we tend to seek younger women who have the mindset of peace and family early on. Because this is an indicator that she has a good head on her shoulders and is thinking along the same lines men are.

So bringing it full circle.

When giving a man the option between a 20-25 year old who is peaceful and family focused. Who has 10-20 years of fertility left for us to safely build a life together.

Vs

A woman 30-35. Who may only just now be becoming family focused and indicating not only possible selfish and impulsive behavior and mindset, but also only has 5-10 years of fertility left to build a life.
