It's rooted in the 80/20 myth

A man that can have sex with a lot of women must be a "high value" man to get so many women interested in him. Because women are biologically only attracted to "alpha men" or whatever bullshit.

While any man of any value will (supposedly) have sex with any woman of any value. So a woman having sex with a lot of men is not considered an accomplishment. In fact that "devalues" the woman in their eyes because it means she is giving her value away.

This is all bullshit. There are a lot of men who have lots of sex who aren't traditional "alpha men" and there are a lot of women who struggle to find any willing partners.

Depends on what you mean by "high" but i dont think those stereotypes are necessarily true about men OR women.

The whole argument is puritanical ideology and misogyny rebranded as a "new" concept.

What I hate is the lock and key analogy that makes out any woman with say a higher body count a’shitty lock’ and a man with a high body ‘a competent/good key’. :(

What they never factor is how many more opportunities women technically have to have sex vs men. Like a low estimate might be 200 opportunities per year at your peak-ages (say 20s: 50-75 from clubbing, 75 if we went on tinder, 50 if we did an ‘I’m bored and lonely need cuddles’ call out on Facebook, 50 if we truly put ourselves out there) vs later on. So if we turn down 249 opportunities per year and accept (even just only) one on average for 10 years we’re still considered a ‘shitty lock’ for having a body count of 10 whereas it could’ve been 2500 if we were really that opportunistic!!! Technically that ‘lock’ was more picky and self-controlled than the ‘key’ re this; yet the woman gets insulted and the man gets praised.

I’m a woman and I always disqualified med with high body count because it’s a turn off they seem easy and mainstream and all the reasons you mentioned above.

I think the judgement exists but maybe most women feel guilty about shaming men for their body count

For men to make themselves feel better about being whores. Pretty simple. They even try to lie and say that men NEED sex on a biological level... to justify their whorish ways. If a man goes and sleeps with 100 women, 100 women just became "used" and "washed up", but the dude is hailed some kind of king. The women have increased their body count by 1 and he has increased his by 100, but still, the women are the "problem".

Kind of like with the whole degrading of moms. They shit on single moms all day long, but same scenario. A man impregnates 100 women. The women have all had one child. The man now has 100 children, but of course, all the women are to be dragged for becoming single mothers and the dude gets off scott-free.

Because women just don't seem to care about body count in men as much as men do in women. They should care though. High body counts in both men and women is disgusting and immoral, and makes one more likely to cheat, and less suitable for committed relationships.

This is like asking why lower height doesn’t affect women the way it affects men. As far as I know, women aren’t being forced to disregard men’s body counts, nor are they shamed into accepting high body counts.

Women only desire extremely attractive men for sex, all other men must show how good a tool they'd make in order to get sex.
