By her own admission, my wife is very happy and loves me very much. Which is why this is so confusing. If I ever do the slightest thing wrong, she loses her goddamn mind, screaming at me and saying awful things.

We needed a plumber today. I spent all day hunting one down and couldn’t find one. I went and told her this. She immediately raised her voice and started scolding me. Among the things she said were, “this is because your parents raised you so badly” and “your parents were right to make you do a 3rd year of preschool”.

I have a strict rule to never say anything I can;t take back. Those were far below the belt and not that they’ve been said, I can’t stop thinking about how mean they are. I to,d her she was being rude and walked away. We talked about it a little and she apologized, but she didn’t seem to understand how harsh she was. I’m a victim of both childhood abuse from my stepmother and abuse from my ex wife and her tone and behavior is just so triggering.

It’s just getting worse. I don’t even have any interest in sex anymore (with anyone to be fair). I’m committed to figuring it out but man, so mean.
