Long story short: Two weeks ago, I met up with this girl who lives in my building after an event hosted by our landlord. The meetup quickly turned into an impromptu date on the roof. I started physically escalating—playing with her jewelry, touching her thigh, and somehow we even ended up dancing. I went for a kiss first but got rejected. Cool, no big deal. I pivoted to kissing her neck, and that eventually led to us fully making out.

The rest of the night went perfectly. We were just vibing and enjoying each other's company. We hung out from 17:00 until midnight, and it was a genuinely great time overall.

Now, cut to two days ago. She basically rejects me and calls things off because she felt too vulnerable and got scared (not her exact words, but she gave me the whole "I'm a red flag" speech (she called herself a red flag), which essentially meant she was running away).

I am just very disappointed and angry about the outcome. We had really high chemistry and a strong connection. It’s frustrating because it feels like she won't use this same excuse on another guy. But it is what it is, and I’ll take the rejection on the chin and move on.

Has anybody experienced something similar? Have you ever dealt with a woman where you had great chemistry and a solid connection, but she still panicked and called it off?
