I have in the healthcare industry. Women there would openly complain about how men are favored at work and how lazy the male gender is. The company had an official preferred hiring and promotion policy for women. Most of the supervisors in our department were women, despite most of the workers being men.

I would never degrade women in front of a woman at work, especially if they were a minority. I care about people.

Not a workplace for me, but actual family. I can't believe how many times I heard my sisters say "All men are shit." Its gotten so bad, not even my mother really likes men anymore. They too say "Not you though." And? That doesn't make it any better.

Sometimes,one of my sisters even plays a song which calls men pigs. Its honestly exhausting.

Working with only men or non-feminist women is so much easier for everyone involved, these toxic misandrist women always create hostility. And you know what else?

Women are very tribalistic and split into groups fast which also creates more issues in every work environment. That’s also why women only environments are way harsher for women itself than mixed environments.

When I was working in the medical center of a large university I attended a meeting where I was the only man and around 12 women. Before the meeting started they started talking about a doctor that they all thought was hot. They went on and on for about 10 minutes. The women were directors and managers. They finally finished talking and started the meeting. They didn’t even acknowledge that I was there and they didn’t care. If I said anything the director would have made my life miserable.

I went to a urology appointment and sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes listening to the all woman office staff talk shit about their husbands and men in general. Then they brought me to an exam room. While waiting for the doctor I could hear nurses in the next room laughing and joking about mens bodies and how embarrassed men are. Male patients are just amusement for them. Urology is essentially a sorority house.

Omg... My last employer was 75% female. The men were told not to talk about the things we find in probate cases (room full of condoms, female safe sex implements, wall of used tampons) because it could offend women at work. But the president can tell us she smelled her son's fingers after he was hanging out with his girlfriend on the couch, and her Halloween costume was a doctor with Dr. pussy something on the name tag.

I was in a workplace in a very left-leaning area where that happened, a lot.

Document *everything:* Time, date, place in the building, who was present, and who said what. Note if there is a security camera in the area.

As stated before, what you're describing is a hostile work environment. Talk to an attorney about this.

(Edit: DO NOT complain to HR immediately. HR's primary concern, is making sure the company's ass is covered-- not your rights. Talk to an attorney first about what steps you need to take.)

10 years ago, I started working in an office with 3 woman. In that time, all I ever hear from these women is bashing men all the time. I actually heard one of them say "yeah, they were engaged and she broke up with him". The other woman said "She was stupid; she should have married him first to lock in her money". I then looked up from my computer and looked at the girls talking. The "ring leader" turns to me and says "What?!?! Yeah, its like that". I was in complete shock; hearing women bash men and discuss deceptive practices to make sure they get 1/2 of the man's hard earned money. After being here for 10 years, I have decided I will never enter into a marriage contract. I have kept my mouth shut for 10 years listening to these woman. All that said, I have learned so much about their deviant behavior; so I am thankful that I kept my mouth shut so I could learn all their tricks of their trades. By the way, I still work here and I am still gathering female intel.

Record audio of EVERYTHING. You will realize that alot of women talk in double speak. They could be saying something nice to you- but if you listen back later the reality is that they were usually being sarcastic or being overly nice just to be mean. Keep to yourself, record record record, and grind and stay out of drama/gossip. Just grey rock anyone who talks poorly about you.
Also pro tip: Before you go into a meeting- go to the bathroom, start recording, and put it into your pocket.

Edit: Also, I'd look at leaving/getting a different job if possible because people like this are LOOKING for a reason to dump on men because of other issues they have in their life and use men as an excuse. Don't be the fall guy, record and protect yourself in the meantime, and look for another job if possible. Look into getting a side hustle to get more money as well

I worked in tourism industry for several years. Had a contract once with an inbound agency and was the only guy at the office. They always talked about men, about other people and there were groups of women that did not like each other. Very strange environment.

My wife works in healthcare in a female dominated space and at one point in a work chat some women were talking about how men can’t be sexually assaulted because they always like it. I have worked in male dominated spaces for twenty five years now and I have never heard a coworker say something that would be sexual harassment towards women.

Women actually act like the lecherous men from mad men at work while cosplaying as the only victims of that harassment.

Record everything.

Interact as little as possible and ONLY discuss work topics.

Never disclose personal details to them - just give generic responses in cordial conversation, but makes sure your demeanor is friendly so they can't interpret that as something to attack you for. Never attend work functions unless it would be detrimental to your career to do so, and if you must, ensure you are 100% professional at all times. Don't drink, don't fraternize, don't even socialize beyond "doing the dance" that they expect of you.

It's only a matter of time before "not you though, you're a good one" isn't convenient for them anymore and this is just the sad fact of female dominated spaces. You are quite literally surrounded by potential predators.

Document EVERYTHING now. Also, tell your friends when it happens. Send them an email documenting everything. If they fire you. Threaten to sue the hell out of them for creating a hostile work environment for you and say that it was constructive termination for speaking out.

Settle with them for $$$ - which is what usually happens.

Look, and I am dead serious here. This women talking trash about men is the least of your worries.

Here are some things you must do:

You must never, ever get romantically involved with a coworker. Ever.
You must get an employment lawyer on retainer that specializes is human relation problems and sexual harassment. Tell them that you are the only male at work and if you have any problems or even suspect some is going on call them right away. Trust me you'll be glad you did.
At an after work happy hour do not consume any more than two drinks and leave.
Make sure you are never alone with any of your coworkers at any time.
Purchase a personal recording device and use it. I don't care if you don't live in a single party state do it!
If you are ever sexually harassed or have any kind of foul or abusive language directed at you call human relations/resources and your lawyer emidiately. Again document everything.
Do not under any circumstances talk about your sex life or intimate personal relations.
Do not ever, EVER, give them any access to your wife, girlfriend or mother's contact information. Tell all of the women in your personal life that they are in no way free to start friendships with your coworkers. Trust me, this is where things can get really out of hand. Establish and reinforce basic interpersonal boundaries at every turn because if you are the only male there they will be sure to target you collectively because that's what groups of women do to individual men. They test boundaries and that's all there is to it.

Trust me brother I have lived through it and know many others who have. As a lone male coworker you are extremely vulnerable to bad female actors in a way that lone female workers are not. Not by a longshot.

Complain to HR. If HR does nothing, complain about HR to management. If they do nothing, file a lawsuit. If men acted this way and a female complained, those men would have to sit through a training on gender policy and behavior. But it's amazing how rare HR (which is typically 75% female) makes women do the same.

File a lawsuit and their HR department will become amazingly more responsive to complaints from men.

Why do so many of you care about what women talk about? I don't work in a female-dominated space, but I am in them quite frequently, and this never bothers me. I honestly view them as children who are upset about something and just venting. And I feel sorry for them that they can only attract crappy men.

As a female who has been in a plastic surgery call center of all women selling buttlifts to other women, high school and college dance teams, etc i can confirm this is what we do in groups. Mostly talk about boys and eventually men.
