I actually think a lot of women do invest in potential but that's not the point of this post.

A lot of red pill men believe that attractive women should settle down young with less attractive nerdy guys. The idea is that these men will become high value with age and the women will get a great deal out of it in the end: a high SMV/RMV guy who will love her when she's post wall.

There are several things wrong with this:

  1. what if the guy never becomes high value? I knew a lot of nerdy guys in college and am still friends with them on fb. Many just became fatter and more bald with age. Zero of the unattractive, but hard working guys I knew became attractive with age. Some of them also became less successful than we expected.

Supposedly TRP is filled with former nerds turned hotties but do you think these guys would have put in the work to be hot if they landed their dream girl young? Probably not. The girl would end up with a fat, unattractive dude she hated fucking.

2.)I think it's unfair that men want to punish women for not investing in potential when they themselves wouldn't.

How many fit, attractive popular young guys would date a fat girl with nice eyes and a nice smile because maybe she would look llike a model if she lost weight? How many hot, well groomed guys would date a frumpy girl who has the bone structure to look good if she lost twenty pounds and gave herself a makeover?

Pretty much none. And women don't expect them to. We know we HAVE to be attractive in order for men to like us. Men who think hot girls should like them when they're unattractive because of potential are entitled as fuck.
