If you read the description of TBP, it sounds like a very humorous parody of TRP. Maybe that was true in the past. Today it is a forum where anyone who criticized men, TRP, Men's Rights, or anything similar is accepted, but if you disagree then you'll get banned.

Having said that, I don't think they criticize virgins more or less than anyone else, they just criticize men in general. And when ridiculing men, "virgin" is a common thing for ignorant people to ridicule even if they don't specifically have any real opinion about virginity.

I've been on Reddit for about two years now, and several of my posts have been cross-posted to their subreddit, so I've experienced the general sentiments of their subreddit for some time regarding other manners.

Honestly though, I think that subreddit underwent a rather significant change, noticeably sometime close to after Trump took office. They were always SJWs and brigaded the manosphere, but they weren't as virulent as they are today. They were pretty similar to the YT skeptic community in the sense of distributing equal blame — e.g. "Yeah, women suck, but so do men too."

However, now, the subreddit has further devolved into an entity that is purely pro-Gynocentric and more so excessively pro-progressivism and pro-modern feminism (I think a recent post the was getting upset at a woman for having "internalized misogyny" for a woman saying that men should still be respected even though it was international woman's day). They've also promoted cuckoldry on multiple occasions.

Truth is they're just another conglomerate group of sheep of the greater Gynocentric conglomerate and any notion that is against Gynocentrism will result in intense triggering and you being banned from their echo chamber.

Virgin shaming has existed for what seems like time immemorial, and it's one of the most common shaming tactics used by modern Gynocentrists against men who do not support and/or go against the female imperative.

i think it's their cheap reaction to a lot of TRPs bragging/lying about how many sluts they're totally definitely banging all the time.

they don't like how TRP talks about women, so they try to take them down a notch by implying they've never touched a woman and their bravado is all false. they're mocking TRP far more than they're mocking virginity, i wouldn't take it personally.

Given some of the alien shit RPers say, I do question whether they interact with actual human women. They seem ignorant of how women talk/act as they describe no good, very bad, dick punching, lady cartoons.

They don't hate virgins themselves but it is an excellent way to attack someone (because it is well known virgins/incels are very self-conscious about their virginity) and they will jump at the chance to use it if they think it can be effective

People who take it to heart and become even more self-conscious are just collateral damage

TBP shames them in that way because they are mocking them for their misogynistic, ugly views. I highly doubt TBP has actual disdain for just shy male virgins. They don't like RPers, so if you associate with RP you will be presumed guilty by association.

TBP does not necessarily mean blue pilled flaired people on PPD by the way.

I don't think this is a complete answer but it might offer another perspective.

It might have to do with how men and women are taught to view virginity from a young age. Women are taught that virginity is sacred, something to be valued and protected. It's not something to be ashamed of, it's a sign of purity.

Men aren't taught this, what they are being taught is often by other men, and women tend to be oblivious to it. So when we hear men lamenting about being virgins women can't relate. One, because it makes it obvious there's a double standard. And two, when men express disgust for something women understand to be valuable it's an insult to the entire gender.
