Respect Being taken out on actual dates instead of just hanging out No sex until a serious relationship/ marriage Men take better care of their appearance Financial stability Mental sanity Relative physical health Kindness Chivalry Paying for dates Birthday, Valentine’s Day etc

I already have to provide all of that. Nothing changes for me.

That being said if women became even more demanding then I would make the creation of sex robots and convincing AIs my one and only goal in life.

That is it, time to replace them. Investing in technology would clearly be better than trying to please women and eventually it would provide a better return on investment. If it doesn't happen in my life time I wouldn't care. I would be the old man that plants trees whose shade he knows he will never sit in.

Well I'll think she sees me as a beta that has to pay a higher price then the hundred other guys that had her before me. Girls today are not offering what girls of the past that demanded that used to offer.

If they don't change to become worthy of that, then I guess I'll just go MGTOW. If they do become worthy of that I'll meet those demands.

For most men (particularly the genetic bottom 80%) this sounds great. The issue is that men don't want to jump through these hurdles and put this much effort in for women with a past. If other men didn't have to wait and didn't have to pay for dates and be financially stable, and just fucked her after matching on tinder, but she demands that I do all of those things, what does that say about my desirability?

This is what I thought dating was actually like before my first few go rounds getting with girls right after high school ended lol.

That's what it looked like to me from the outside, and that's what I prepared myself for, and then I learned in quick succession that none of it is expected or necessary, and that at times it can even be a downside.

But I had trouble letting it go for situations where I was really into the girl, like it would be too risky to not go at least somewhat above and beyond.

So if now it all reverted back to what I thought as a wee lad it was supposed to be like? I'd be cool with that. It would be a norm from what I'm reading. So there'd be no suspicion that I'm doing more than other people do, which is a feeling I tend to not like so much.

With feminism and the sexual revolution (the pill as well), women had in the most part traded receiving commitment from men before having sex, for the ability to fuck around for a decade longer.

Was this a good trade? I guess that will depend on the woman giving the answer.

And regarding men, this would benefit the bottom 85% of men at the expense of the top 15%.

There was a time when women respected these things. That went out the window when honor and worth went out of style. If women became feminine and had some self respect, they would deserve such things as listed.

Grateful for a list of demands? I didn't see a single thing that the hypothetical woman was bringing "extra" to the table.

Further. Dating a woman who suddenly changes the deal after the relationship has started or is established is significantly different to a woman who as a condition of the relationship lays out her expectations up front.

I would date a woman who wanted to wait until marriage for sex.

I would date a woman who was fine with being intimate before marriage.

I would instantly leave a woman who was fine with being intimate before marriage then changed over-night to withhold sex until marriage/talk of marriage came up. That's a huge fucking red flag, that, among other things demonstrated a severe lack of empathy as well as a vivid sense of selfishness. Fuuuuuuck thaaaaaat.

I am, however a different breed. I never date without the idea of marriage, or rather, life long commitment as being the end-goal and am always clear in my interpersonal motives with my SO.

A woman who was physically intimate with me who then wanted to "Shift" the discussion to commitment/marriage wouldn't need to - because that conversation would be a regular on to different degrees from the outset. The moment I know I could not have a lifelong relationship with someone is the moment I start heading towards a breakup in short order.

I think it criminal to waste someone's time under false pretenses.

Most of these are already basic standards. What "demands" are being made? Are these demands similar to the ones listed or off the beaten path?

If women suddenly all demanded that men shouldn't have hobbies like video games, sports, or working out then that would be incredibly unrealistic and would create even more friction on the dating pool.

If women demanded that all men shave their ass or have facial hair then maybe I can see that being adopted after some time

I'm gonna act like that wasn't already the standard. Then we'd let the market readjust. Men want women but women also want men. So some of them would give in, and those would get the relationship. So then it's a matter of what do you prefer. Same goes for men. That's the beauty of the law of offer and demand. You don't have to try to impose an equilibrium (and can't) because the dating market already regulates itself.
