Recently met a friend of a friend. We were alone at the ATM each getting cash and I was like "Oh you went to Arizona State, tons of hot chicks there".

He then went on a few minutes talking about his lackluster sex life in college.

As I got to know him more, he's basically a "fucboi". His life is dedicated to getting laid. He goes out 3+ nights a week, sleeps with girls of varying quality. Rarely in relationships. What I find most shocking is that he's trying to find a way to extend his PHD program and stay year or so more because he likes his lifestyle so much.

OTOH, someone on PPD made a claim that the "popular"/"well socially adjusted" people form high school just get married in their mid/late 20s/early 30s and have kids. I would agree with this.

For some reason I suspect that his poor college experience gave him some sort of complex.

My question is:

  1. Any experience the same?

  2. Is there any benefit to being a fucboi? I sorta had the same experience in college. Mark Mason (the self help author) used to be a PUA coach and on his old blog he had a post about the benefits for getting into the game. Basically it can vastly improves social skills and you end up confronting mental hangups/monkeys on your back that you would have a lifetime to deal with it not even knowing of them.

What do you think?
