Why do you care so much about what people think is and isn't sexual harassment? Sexual harassment has a solid definition written by an HR department. If a man's actions do not fall into that category of behavior,, it doesn't matter how many dumb bitches think is sexually harassing, nothing is going to come of it. And if a woman is acting within the definition of sexual harassment, then report her to HR, it doesn't matter how many dumb bitches don't think it qualifies as sexual harassment, as long as you have evidence, something will come of it.

There is an underlying power dynamic difference with sexual harassment that I can sympathize with women. If a man approaches you in a work setting after hours, corners you, strokes your leg, etc. and you're uncomfortable there is an underlying threat there. A 'if worst comes to worst' that you're powerless. Now, does that danger ever materialize? Not really. Just like walking home at night past a group of rough looking youth usually doesnt mean you get mugged - but the underlying difference in power dynamic still gives you a little fear.

As a man, a women can never make me uncomfortable in the same way. 'Worst comes to worst' I could throw her throw a window if I wanted to.

You seem to be conflating flirting with harassment instead of, you know, expressing interest. Continued pursuit after you've been told "no" could be harassment, but that is not what you have said here.

If you can’t understand the difference between sexual harassment and flirting then you are the problem here, not women. The fact that there are people like you who can’t tell the difference is exactly why the metoo movement gained traction. Because there are dudes out there making women stressed or even afraid to go to work today, while those same dudes think it’s a little harmless flirting and never consider the fact that it may be making their target uncomfortable. So congratulations. You played yourself.

If you're not at work, it's not sexual harassment. And even if it is at work, depending on your company's specific policy, flirting on its face is not harassment. It would need to involve explicitly sexual language or actions, or it would need to happen over and over.

Like many men on this sub, you seem confused about what sexual harassment is. A little research would serve you well.

The issue to me is when these bloated HR departments are getting unsolicited amounts of power. I'm not a lady so I just wanted to throw this comment into the fray. I think there are ever increasing and superfluous definitions of sexual harassment, and they are making it difficult for men and women to treat each other equally in the workplace. I'm starting a business, and I wish I didn't have to view women as a potential liability, but it's scary to think of the potential of things that I could be held accountable for, if I don't eventually spend exuberant resources on good HR, and PR, and all that whilst minding my own damn business. Like I'm supposed to babysit every flippin adult that I could potentially work with/ hire, or it's my head on the pike. Yikes. Obviously I'm not advocating for the complete removal of sexual harassment policy in the workplace, but some aspects are part of a bloated legal industry (and yes, I said industry $$$ ).
