Some women are just aggressive in their approach to things. Maybe she's drunk. Maybe you're just that hot that she has to go after you. I don't know if this is uncommon because most men feel good when women hit on them but hitting on someone itself is an aggressive move people do to those they think are "below them"

Nothing in your OP strikes me as true on any level, and I know I'm not unique. If a woman aggressively hits on me I honestly don't give a thought if she feels "threatened". Why would I?

Same with whether she's intimidated by me. Like 99% of men, my preference is that women don't feel intimidated or threatened by me, unless there's some reason to think they might steal from me or try and harm me.

Even then, I'd want them to know that if it came down to a confrontation, I'd use the bare minimum force to recover my possessions or protect myself. If a woman has no desire to harm me, then I truly don't GAF whether she's scared of me in any way, because I have never and will never give a woman any reason to fear me, apart from the baseline of "fuck with me and you will face consequences, but otherwise have a great day".

Like almost all men, the majority of women who have flirted aggressively with me are street prostitutes, who we just ignore.

100% of women are able to get laid by being subtle and non-aggressive, so why be aggressive?

The women who have hit on me have been more the desperate type than the challenging type. They were usually of lower SMV and saw me as an approachable guy. I don't think a woman has to be intimidated by you to perceive you as masculine. Just the fact that she is giving you attention and not ignoring you means that she perceives you as masculine.

Yeah, not so much.

Women approach men frequently but only a few men ever experience that regularly because women are hyper-selective. It's totally normal, all kinds of women do it in a variety of different ways with differing levels of aggression.

Sometimes they are quite aggressive and forward (usually when it's more pure sexual interest) and not intimidated - but that does not mean that she is looking to emasculate you at all or that she thinks you're weak.

In any case, using a strong neg will only attract crazies. Soft negs (like ignoring or turning down the assumed close before the actual offer) can make the ones who're being more subtle get more intense if you want/need to game the close and beyond. But usually there's no need to do much beyond neither seeming too interested and effing it up nor too much like and arse and effing it up
