With my current SO, I was good friends with him for 2 years before we started having sex. For the additional relationship I hope to have, I would like to first have sex after at least 2 months of dating. This includes oral, PiV, and anal sex.

If someone wants sex by date 3, I will be upfront and tell them it wouldn't work out between us.

If he is attractive and doesn't put his foot in it, first date will end in sex. If not 2nd date for sure.

If he is average he maybe has a chance by date 2 or 3 if he can "man up" or make her laugh but if he doesn't/can't then it is the friendzone for him.

It depends on your definition of "date". The term "'hang out" can be weasel words for simply going on an aimless, cheap date. Unless you share the same social circle and you all get together regularly somewhere to do basically nothing, then it is not really "hanging out".

However, two people doing something - anything, even nothing - together as a romantic prelude to "see where is goes" is still a "date".

Our wired age means that we don't make a date anymore, that is choose a specific day, time and place to meet for some roughly defined activity over a certain number of hours. It's especially true of students whose time is flexible even though they have a busy life, and it is catch-as-catch can to get together with someone.

One exception that the internet has opened up is that you can connect with people at a distance and you end up chatting online for a while before setting a date, time and place to meet and do some pre-arranged activities. In many cases that can be 1st date sex. . .technically.
