We've had a lot of discussions about incels in the past few months. It can get confusing. On one side of the spectrum you have people who do get sex, just not nearly as much as they want. On the other, you have 30+ year old virgins.

It gets a bit hard for rpers and bpers alike to decide how to distribute their sympathies. I am proposing categorization or alternative measures of inceldom similar to the US Department of Labour statistics measures of unemployment (U1-U6 measures of unemployment). For reference: http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t15.htm

We'll have multiple categories of incels.

C7 -- The insatiate. These are people who simply don't get enough sex. They complain about being sexless for too long, make this 1 month. There is a huge variance in this group. I dare say most men fall into C7 celibacy levels as a minimum, because honestly, no man with a working set of balls ever gets enough sex.

C6 -- The struggling. They have to struggle to get sex, but they still can do so. It just takes much more effort for them than most people. Most people do not consider this level to be truly celibate.

C5 -- Discouraged sex-seekers. E.g. High level mgtow. These are long-term sexless (5+ years). At this level, a lot of people still don't consider these people truly "incels". These are people who are accused of having self-inflicted sexless status. This includes people whose standards are too high, those who are just lazy, or those who are just too shy or afraid of failure.

C4 -- Truly long-term sexless. Have not had sex for over 5 years. For all intents and purposes, these people legitimately cannot get sex without paying for it. They're not just discouraged or lazy. They are undesirable to too many people. The reason they don't pay for it usually has to do with self inhibitions... such as shame, guilt, or other internal considerations. "That doesn't count. I want to be loved."

C3 -- Virgins. They are 25+ yrs of age, past their youth. Past the point of college or other opportunities where they'd have simple access to peers of the opposite sex. Like the C4 categorization, they are incels in the sense that they cannot get sex unless they pay for it.

C2 -- "Truecels". People at this level have never had sexual intercourse and cannot even pay for a hooker. Perhaps they are just in an isolated location. Perhaps they are too poor. Perhaps they have obvious diseases. Perhaps they are just that hideous. These people have most people's sympathies, even bpers.

C1 -- Wizards. Kiss-less virgin at 30+. Not only no PIV, but no anal, bj, or even kiss. They somehow cannot even pay someone to kiss them for same reasons as C2 or worse. Commonly referred to as "wizards" (they have a "wizardchan" group that you may have heard of). There are higher levels of wizards such as the "archmage" (40+ yr old. Note: I made that up; it's not in popular use ^...yet ) and the lich (50+ yr old; ^credit ^to ^buartha ^for ^terminology ), but they are all C1. High level wizards are very likely to pass on to the bonus stage due to deformities or real problems (elephant man, tree man, faceless man, etc).

.. and for the bonus level.

C0 -- Also known as "Messiahs". Lifetime achievement unlocked. These are people who died as famous virgins. This is the ultimate celibacy level, reserved for the great saints like Tesla, Newton, and Jesus. To reach this level, I honestly think you need to have achieved fame. The fame will be to give you posthumous recognition for being a virgin.

Why?

For much less misunderstanding. Using such a categorization system, there will be much less confusion.

Example:

Typical BPer: "lol incels."

Incel: "You should feel bad, because I am a C2 incel. That's right. C2. I am truly underprivileged."

Typical BPer: Jaw drops... Walks away in shame.

... So you can see how my categorization system can improve communication.

Questions:

  1. What level did you personally consider someone an "incel", before being enlightened by my categorization system?

  2. What do you think most other people consider someone an "incel"?

  3. At what point do you actually pity an incel?

Thanks.
