Sometimes I wish we could use pure hypocrisy as an energy source. TBP would then keep us running for the next century.

If I ever were to come across RP men or men who share RP standards for woman's sexual history, I would instantly drop them. Such men are toxic muh sogge kneeist douchebags and I hate them so much. Interesting situation. Unless he lied to to Amit about Nikki, I don't see how he did anything wrong. Actually, if Amit found out more about his fiance thanks to him, then what her brother did was actually commendable.

It sucks that the family relations worsened because of this, but you gotta help your fellow man.

Hey, I was in that thread! Can we talk about how mad this person got? I feel really sorry for people like her, devoting herself to a field like that - and thinking it matters. The reason evo psych is treated like shit is because it is. Anyone can do physics or math in their own home, its able to be recreated. Meanwhile, evo psych is a bunch of idiots making shit up as they go along - and getting mad at people who can do the same thing. There is almost no justifiable difference between an amateur evo psychologist and a "professional" evo psychologist.

Honestly? This is like a bad joke. "Omg how dare you share your opinions with my fiance!" People have the right to speak to each other. Why is only the brother considered at fault here? He talked, but the fiance did not have to listen. It was the fiance's decision to leave, it's not like the brother somehow forced him to do it. If anything the fact that the brother was able to convince the fiance so thoroughly, so easily, only lends support to his viewpoint that the sister was acting disingenuously.

From my perspective, the brother was in the wrong. This is classic triangulation. Nikki had no chance to defend herself, and I do not see evidence that she was "slutting it up" (to use a very distasteful expression). Three white boyfriends does not a "slut" make (in my opinion), and it's a possibility that the interloping brother was being untruthful or exaggerating. This overzealous trumpeting of red- pill theory is what gives the red pill a negative reputation to outsiders. Finally, both guys look weak in that they did not speak with Nikki directly. They behaved in an underhanded and conspiratorial fashion. Nikki obviously cared about Amit, and I wish him luck in finding someone who cares that much. If being a virgin trumps everything else- well, good luck. I think the abandoning your brother route is too extreme (that is if you did/ do have a personal connection with your brother). When someone is radicalized like most desperate TRPers, showing raw aggression only backs up their points. Fighting hate with hate is almost never the answer. Neither is "educating" your brother. I am sure your brother doesn't like being talked down to especially in your parents culture. TRP takes those who have honestly lost something/ never had the power to do something with their lives and tells them it is partly their fault but mostly women's fault. They then trivialize both women and men saying that whatever respect and kindness you could afford to others is pointless. TRP is nihilism, exploitation, and belittling at it's finest. It is a very "us vs them" mentality and honestly the biggest "I am going to 1-UP you with being right about this" ideology. There honestly might not be a way to reach your brother. No offence but culturally India is quite misogynistic, very male centered, and caste based. His upbringing, failure with women early on in life, and now success with the strategy has ingrained it that this is the way things are. When someone is entrenched in what they want to believe and it has been enforced by circumstantial events what you need to do is get them out of that environment. Something that can prove to him without debate that what he is doing is wrong. This cannot be vague arguments about rape culture or something intangible like studies or statistics. Something has to happen to him that is counter to his ideology so strongly that he is forced to question it. If you do care about your brother you have to show him how wrong he is in this manner. If not you are more then welcome to cross him out of your life, though that will probably only enforce his convictions about women... maybe. Again no one here knows the specifics of your brother or your life.

Assuming this isn't a troll post, the only winner to be seen here is the brother. Attitude shift, got jacked and now has a gf that would "follow him to the end of the world" (who, lets be real, is probably way hotter than OP, jealousy anyone)? It is also funny how TBP are pining for him to get his just deserts in the end, as if that is how the world works.
Major props to that guy for saving us from another "I told my husband I was a virgin but now he found my sex tape from college" type post in the near future. It is getting out of hand.
On that note, RP theory can only go so far. No one put a gun to "Amit's" head. As far as "Nikki" goes, she should be glad at the resulting weight loss since she has to actually compete on the dating market now and can't run with some "I'm a virgin" BS to lock down some poor unsuspecting guy.
