Right so I'll start off saying that I know precious little about the details of RP theory and strategy, but the whole thing fascinates me in a strange way. I guess because it feels very alien to my own lived experience.

By all measures, I would call myself traditionally 'beta.' I'm not particularly assertive, usually keen to take the backseat on things and go with the flow. I'm pretty sensitive, emotionally, and have displayed this in front of a wide variety of people. I'm an artsy creative type, and display most of the stereotypes you'd associate with that. I've been mistaken for gay more times than I can count. I've always been skinny-fat, as you'd call it. Small frame, poor shape. At this point in my life, I'm quite bald as well.

So with that all out of the way, here are the points where I'm wondering about the "Red Pill" view;

  1. I've never in my life had trouble getting laid. At all. If we're counting all types of sexual activity, I'm well into the 30s. Casual sex and LTRs have come pretty easily to me. I guess I'm curious why you think this is. Am I secretly 'alpha' and don't even realize it?

  2. Excepting one short-lived relationship, I've never felt 'walked all over' by women I'm dating. Maybe it's the type of women I attract? I'm not sure, but I've never felt pressured to play any sort of extensive mind games, seek excessive approval, or even pay for all that much. Outside of a special occasion "let me buy you dinner" type thing, pretty much everyone I've dated has split the bill. Am I, as a beta-male attracting some type of beta-female?

I don't want this to come off as me trying to pull some 'gotcha' thing, or prove your ideology wrong or whatever. It just feels sometimes when I read RP stuff like I'm reading about a whole different universe than the one I exist in.
