I'm thinking maybe there is room for a dating app that centers around extreme frugalness in dating... so everyone using that app is agreeing just by using the app that dates found on that app will involve things like a walk on the beach with whatever refreshments they each decided to bring for themselves, going jogging together, not making extra efforts at presentation if those aren't in their budget etc.

That way there could be a place for people who just... don't wanna. Don't wanna buy a new dress and put on expensive makeup. Don't wanna spend extra to make sure their bra matches their panties, Don't wanna buy a complete stranger a coffee. Don't wanna buy a razor and shave their pits. Don't wanna date you unless you are on the train line and are willing to go on days that they are using the train to get to and from work. etc

Would you be up for using such an app? Why or why not? if you participated would you be able to handle the resulting dating environment with good grace even when it provides less than you optimally want? Is not paying for her coffee a fair exchange for her not using a razor?
