Okay, correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t proposals work like the following:

the couple talks about marriage and decide together that they want to get married.

The actual proposal bit is a surprise, sort of, that the guy usually plans.

But while the circumstances of the proposal might be a surprise, the fact that he proposed at all isn’t.

So I guess it doesn’t matter who does the proposing. The decision to get married is a joint one. I guess it’s up to how traditional the couple is.

I wouldn’t want my future wife to propose to me. She gets the wedding, I guess, but let me enjoy the proposal.

It's also not like the idea of a woman proposing is anything new. The exact same was talked about since at least I was a kid.

It never gets to be normal. The proposal is part of the pursuit game and the man's responsibly. Hell if I were a woman and felt I had to purpose I'd feel insulted.

Would I risk losing half of my assets for an opportunity to be on the recieving end of a "traditional" grand display of affection/love?

The more I think about it... I think I would. I think I finally found the second situation in which I would marry miss moral.

I think the risk of losing half of everything I own is a fair price to pay for an experience that otherwise I could only get if I was a woman.

So how would I feel? Happy enough to be irrational.

I've been proposed to by three different women, thought they didn't get on one knee or anything. They just sat me down and asked like any other question. One of them went and got a ring from somewhere, though. I said yes to her, but she cheated later so fuck that shit.

It doesn't feel weird at all. Just surprising. I think it happens more than some people think.

A woman I'd date would never consider doing this, so I wouldn't know. If for some reason she did propose, I'd have a reason for not proposing to her by then, and I'd tell her that reason when saying no.
