I've always had my skepticism of this sub. Some of the posts seem like straight sexism sometimes, but I made sure that I looked at enough cases so that it wasn't just bias. Sure enough, there are tons of links to studies, posts from other people experiencing similar issues, and last but not least my own personal experiences that helped solidify my view that this is truly a concern for our society.

I was at a bar for a major event in my town. My town is small but highly populated, and is known for having a large amount of young, attractive millennials. While at this bar, lots of attractive women roamed the venue. I went to the line for the bathroom and waited behind two other guys. There were two bathrooms, both unisex, so any gender could enter either one. Low and behold, a very attractive woman was around me talking to her friend but slowly moving towards the bathroom while conversing as if she just 'happened' to be in line already. Eventually she just stopped with the hinting and walked straight to the front of the line without hesitation.

I looked around at the other guys both in front of and behind me and her, giving clear body language signs of "Is this really happening? Are you guys seriously letting this happen?" The other guys just willingly accepted the gesture and continued looking down on the ground waiting. I decided to stick up and said loudly to the guy in front "Don't let her cut you and make sure you get in the bathroom first." Everyone looked at me like I just tried to assassinate the president. The girl of course gave me the most disgusting look and started screaming traditional logical arguments at me: "Why are you being such a douchebag...you're a fucking asshole and have no respect.." etc.

I didn't yell but definitely projected my voice simply asking why it was so hard to wait in line like the rest of us? I even pointed out how quick guys take in the bathroom compared to girls, even though that shouldn't be a part of the argument. Her response was more drunk rambling about me not respecting women but my favorite complaint was that "I'm on my period!" I could tell from her body language and stuttering that she wasn't prepared to defend herself for her shitty behavior and logic. She expected to be treated like a princess.

While we were arguing the other two guys had 'reclaimed' their spot in line and did their thing, leaving the girl at the 'front' and me being second in line. She continued talking with her friend who was further down the line like nothing was happening and the second the door opened up I got in there with her bitching from behind making her wait again.

They say a drunken mind speaks a sober heart. This is definitely how this girl feels deep within her heart and is at the root of her philosophy, because let's be honest, who would make such a bold move while sober? Don't ever let women (or anyone for that matter) try to tell you that entitlement and equality are one in the same.
