These days whenever I see a dating profile there's always an ever increasing number of girls saying they're alone, that they want somebody, that they are tired to be ignored. They are always around 6/10, nothing wrong with that, the problem is that they always, always, try to make themselves as unattractive and unavailable as possible. They make an actual effort to be as hostile as they can in their bios, complaining about being alone only to weed out the vast majority of the population by demanding any suitors should subscribe to her obscure cultural preferences or don't even bother.

Hair is almost always justfuckmyshitup-tier, often with the most garish dye job you can get. Slightly overweight? heres a photo that makes her look even father, why do that? to make a statement? to who?. And the clothing, always so tryhard, she really wants to be "not like the other girls" but ends up looking like a stereotype.

Really I don't understand this, I don't get why anyone who feels so alone would go and purposely make themselves virtually unavailable like this.

Edit: I should clarify, these are women who say they're alone, and they didn't have the luck of being born with the best looks around, but instead of trying to "looksmax" as some say they try to make themselves virtually unapproachable by being unnecessarily obnoxious while looking bad, and I dont mean bad as in "I just hang around in sweatpants", I mean looking bad as an objective, actually put effort into looking as unappealable as possible, basically individuality not through personality but by aesthetics of a certain subculture they might not even belong to.
