TL;DR even if you don't know how to cook or are too busy/lazy to there are many options.

I've been a weightlifter for the last 12 years, know the importance of eating healthy and how it supplements your training. I've been doing mainly CrossFit and olympic weightlifting for the last 6 years and as I've been doing more intense workouts nutrition becomes more important. Once you start eating more healthy, you'll realize that 90% of the stuff sold at GNC and other supplement stores is horseshit and you are wasting your money.

I've compiled a list of many healthy eating options for you that really makes it inexcusable to eat healthy.

For the already resourceful and like to read:

The Paleo Solution: The Original Human Diet by Robb Wolf, me personally I'm not a fan of the Paleo Diet but for some of you fatbodies on here that have been poisoned by 15+ years of junk food and fast food, it is a good way to start shedding those pounds of fat off your body and in to building muscle. Only in your early days of lifting would I recommend eating this way just to cleanse your body of the years of abuse that you fed in to it and to see some results in a short period of time.

Enter The Zone by Barry Sears: If you are going to abide by a nutrition plan/diet. I would go with Zone over paleo. It is a more performance based nutrition plan. If you like to nerd out on exercise science and really breakdown the numbers of your caloric intake vs. your workout performance. This is the best option because you can alter how much you eat based on how much you workout. You are also more free to eat other foods that you wouldn't if you followed a true paleo diet. Zone can be very time consuming on the meal prep side, however if you are taking the time to improve yourself do it in all facets of your life.

Meal Prep Delivery services

Crossfit and other forms of fitness have become very maintstream in the last few years. With that there are a lot of pre-made meal services out there now to make any excuse of eating healthy irrelevant. I'm going to list a few links here for you based on where you live to look in to. It's as simple as this, you go on their sites, order your meals and a few days later they are either delivered to a local CrossFit affiliate to you or freeze pack shipped to your home. You don't have to be a member of these gyms to be able to pick up your food. If you live outside of the regions I list, just find a local CrossFit gym to you, see if they offer a meal service to their members, get the meal service's information and start ordering. If not there, try a small business supplement shop that caters to bodybuilders, a lot of them offer meal services too.

Every time you decide to endulge in a doughnut or pull in to a mcdonalds, you are going back in to your old bitch frame. Every time you eat healthy and lift hard you are building your new improved self frame. These are your easiest options, fucking do it. You can't out train a bad diet and stop wasting your money on all that stupid shit GNC and other supplement stores sell.

Look at your diet and your training like driving a sports car. You can't drive a sports car hard on regular fuel and conventional oil. Protect your investment.
