I rarely ever did this with my girlfriends.

Gifts were always timed to ensure minimal cost.

Ex. 1 scarf for her birthday from Missoni, bought on clearance for under £20. Dress on Christmas for £25. Apart from that, she would get a pot of flowers for £1.50 once in a blue moon.

It was only worth it because I actually know how to make a woman look nice. When she wore what I picked, she looked like a million bucks. Perfect silhouettes, perfect patterns for skin tone and hair colour, etc. She basically looked like a Ralph Lauren Purple Label advert.

Leave her on her own and it looked like a kindergarten playroom. 0.5/100 style. .5 for playfulness.

Still, I felt like the entire experience was a waste of time and money and that I should have used the funds in the stock market or for my own personal style instead.
