Today's themed thread is about developing alpha male qualities, aka masculine traits.

What is something you've learned or done that fostered masculinity that others could benefit from in their quest to balance out their over abundance of beta male traits? Most guys who are drawn to TRP and the PUA community have an overabundance of beta qualities and that really hurts their chances with women. Then they go overboard aping the "alpha" qualities, which helps and will find them some success, but their true self eventually shines through and 6 months later when they break up the guys end up back at square 1. Balance is where it's at as it's sustainable over the long-term.

Athol Kay of Married Man Sex Life Primer had a great list. Stuff like stoicism, mental toughness, physical strength, etc come to mind. Typically they might track to action and dominance. For example, learning how to shoot a gun, taking up a martial art, etc. The long-term goal of course is to find balance:
