No, I wouldn’t. Online sex work is very much related to prostitution or at least pornography. It takes a very special person to go against the norm and live outside of polite society. I don’t want to shame people who take that path and with that burn a lot of bridges back to ordinary life. But I don’t think prostitution and pornography should be normalized as a viable job option for ordinary people. It should be reserved strictly for the brave and extraordinary people who can handle the inevitable stigma that comes with it.

If I could maintain complete anonymity, I probably would. I’ve actually considered doing this with the wife since we fit the profile of a couple that could likely make okay money at it. I don’t see it as particularly immoral and our relationship is secure. The only major downside for us would be the stigma amongst our real-life circle of friends / acquaintances. If that was secure, we would likely give it a try. So it’s a yes from me.

I mean it depends on the time I’m putting in. If I can just snap a bulge pic twice a week and make six figs then it’s all good, but realistically I’ll be putting in 40-50 hours a week doing community management and streaming and marketing and Twitter outreach and all sorts of other exhausting shit that I have no innate interest in doing. So at that point why not just have a normal job? I have the skillsets after all.

It translated to enough $/hr, I'm thinking about $20/hr or more would be worth it to me
I didn't have to do stuff I'm way uncomfortable with, like shoving things in my ass or something
I was able to keep it discrete or exclusive enough that no work associates or friends/family found out

Well I have no money problems so the first thing is that I would have to make more money for hour than I already make.

For the sake of argument lets say that issue is taken care of.

The ramifications are that I would not be able to live the life I want because I fail to see how I could be seen in the way I want to be seen by my partner if I worked on that line of work.

So that is another reason to say no.

The audience would matter because I have no interest in entertaining a male audience. If that wasn't a problem then more men would enter into that line of work I believe.

It is an interesting tought experiment. I guess that if I didn't care about monogamy, the money was good and the audience was an audience I have interest in entertaining I would do it.

I doubt those cricumstances will ever be true for me. Maybe the money being good. The others ones... I don't think so.

First of all, I am not attractive enough to get engaged in sex work. 'Men are horny and can fuck anything' blah blah, that's why any woman who doesn't qualify as ugly can get into this sort of business if she wants. You have to be outstandingly handsome (e.g. belong to the top 10% in that matter), masculine and I would assume somewhat hung.

Aside from this, if we're talking about 'online' sex work - hell yes, it is risk-free and can earn you a fortune afaik. Of course like anything else that's work (rather than magically getting buxx into your bank account) which requires effort. As far as real sex work the question is more complicated. It's got some risks you cannot just dismiss, STD being the main one. If you really want me to answer I still would say yes, but am not so sure; don't think I am ready for the gay stuff though... Well whom am I trying to fool here, I'd do everything for $$$ lol, it's the amount that matters.

I absolutely HATE being in front of the camera. I did some chaturbate shows with an ex and honestly hated every second. The people were crude; i hated, hated following directions/requests, especially when they were cringe.
