I work at a women’s clothing store and there will be so many men shopping presents for their spouse and they don’t know basic information about her size, what she likes to wear, what colours she likes, etc. So many times the boyfriend/husband will tell me “can you just pick for me?” 🙄

It's sad, the one who didn't know the name of her parents. She even said he wouldn't know it, so I thought maybe they just started dating and don't know about families. But of course she knew his parents names. Of course.
