What are the effects of gender differences in political intolerance on relationships and the relationship & sexual markets?

I strongly suspected the main source of this was abortion even before I opened the article, and at a cursory glance that does indeed seem to be the case. Tradcon family values anti-abortion women are some of the most passionate when it comes to politics. Liberal pro-choice women are stereotyped as the angry/emotional ones but as someone who has spent plenty of time with both I can say evangelical conservative women give them a run for their money.

What does this mean for dating? Not much. Women may be more polarized/intolerant on abortion as a political issue but often do completely different things in their personal lives, just as men do. Many pro-choice women keep their babies, many pro-life women cognitive dissonance their way into abortions. Lifestyle is a more important compatibility issue than politics imo.

Interesting because I have found traditionally conservative men tend to self identify early on in dating. Conservative men are still going to try and bang a woman no matter what her politics is because they want to bang. They are not less partisan.

The vast majority of women are progressive/liberal.

The vast majority of progressives/liberals people believe they had seen the Light since they're educated (meaning going to uni studying with Professors who are also progressives/liberals).

Since they had seen the Light and genuinely believe to be heroes in this Victimhood era and "DECENT HUMAN BEINGS" (aka the greatest quest of their life after converting the heathens) they shame the Evil People who don't agree with the Holy Truth they found. Progressive/liberals men and women love using shaming tactics and have a really hard time arguing beyond that.

Edit: The effect on the SMP and RMP is hard to define, IMO. After all, many women love to date the men they pretend to hate. Modern feminists are pro in this matter for example. For the more "empowered" of them, it's quite difficult however to have a partner that doesn't accept the Light.

Women (and weak men) just follow what’s popular at any given time, always leaning more towards collectivism and worship of strong leaders that promise protection and free stuff, sometimes leaning to the left and sometimes to the right. They buy into any BS moral outrage fad that will allow them signal their superficial virtue to the world, while having no conception of real virtue, moral principles or individual rights and responsibilities. Of course they will not have someone opposing their views, because they have put no thought into forming those views and don’t know how to defend them. It just depends on how the winds blow at any given time.

Politics is arguing the best way to get to the same (best) outcome. Most men want to provide a solution while women want to talk about a problem (YouTube: it’s not about the nail)...

In relationships, focusing on problems rather than solutions seems to be a feminine trait (hence why men say “we will never be good enough for them”)...

Makes sense, but these are all generalizations and this article seems to want to use politics to further divide us (in my opinion, the only thing politics really contributes)

Well it's the differences that lead to intolerance right? So you can't discuss one without the other. It makes relationships more difficult is what. I'm not surprised at all women are more intolerant and I think a lot of people aren't. It means women will have more trouble compromising and relationships need compromise. Especially since what most women believe is even more ridiculous than what most men do. They have more trouble functioning in reality and if you can't see things for what they are, the more trouble you'll have, with relations and life in general.

Maybe it should also be noted that married women tend to vote conservative. I don't know if it's that Conservative women are just more likely to marry, or that Leftist women change once married. But maybe actually being in a more "locked in" relationship can help the divide down the road, once you're trying to build something together.

I doubt it affects the casual sex market much. I imagine most women are fine hooking up with men who have opposing political views as long as they are hot. May not even take the time to find out what his political beliefs are in the first place.

Longterm it probably disproportionately hurts conservative men while conservative women likely benefit by being less common relative to the men who are conservative thus giving them even more bargaining power.

I'm curious how it affects people who are more politically neutral or apathetic tho. Like do women need someone who is equally as passionate about the same political issues or is just having someone who isn't on the enemy team good enough 🤔
