Women can't walk down the street without getting hit on. I've had some real ugly ones complain that they're sick of men "catcalling" them on the street.

The funny (and sad) thing is that it’s not men screwing over women, it’s women screwing over women. Starting with the 60’s, each generation has told the younger generation of women that they can act like men and that they will get what they want and be happy. They do just that and end up stealing (or damaging) the guys the older generation would date. When that generation grows up, they teach the next generation to do what they did, and the cycle continues. It’s the younger generations who are screwing the older generations, who in turn get screwed by the next generation.

No amount of money, no amount of career success would ever make me happy

Another case of a woman who spends her most optimal years where she could have had what she claims were what she dreamt of, but spent those years on the career path. While it is possible for woman to work and still find a man who would be good husband material, she clearly did not accomplish that. The fact that she even brings up her career tells me that she place priority into that over finding a man to marry and have children with.

If she really wanted to be married and have 10 children, what stopped her from attaining this goal (setting aside the fact that 10 children is quite a large number for anyone to consider, so we can just categorize that goal as just having children and not focus on the number alone)? We can see the power that social stigma has on women like her. She was told throughout her life before reaching adulthood that education and careers are what she should focus on. College is pushed upon many young women (and young men as well, though the consequences for them are not nearly the same), as they are told that is the key to success and happiness. The problem with that message is that it makes it far too easy to brush aside any family goals, as college is certainly not a great environment where someone who wants a marriage and family will be in the best place to reach those goals. It is not impossible, but it places a major roadblock to anyone who does not have iron focus on that goal.

After college comes the crunch to find employment. A career. This is supposed to be the pinnacle of the goal after college. But that proclaimed peak is not merely getting the job, but climbing the ladder. Again, this does not completely eliminate the possibility of finding a husband for women who want that, but it also adds another roadblock. For women who attempt to compartmentalize their relationships in "phases," this makes the goal of finding a husband even far more difficult, as it opens the door for women to easily justify any flings, hookups, friends with benefits, short term relationships with non-husband material men as no big deal. After all, she does not have time to be dating anyone seriously, so what is the harm of those short term "relationships?"

The problem lies not only with the fact that it demonstrates that she does not respect her future husband all that much, but also that these short term "relationships" make for not only a poor practice for marriage, but is in complete contradiction to any preparation for marriage. Marriage is (supposed to be) a lifetime commitment, and if you are practicing a pattern of behavior that puts you in the mindset that sexual relationships are something that can be picked up and discarded at a whim, how would any marriage fare well with that mindset?

I do not know exactly how much all of this applies to this woman. Maybe she did not engage in all the possible things I mentioned, though I would not bet money on that. What we do know for a fact that she did not reach her goal of getting married and having children. Remember, she states that this was her dream. This begs the question why did she not prioritize this? Also, what other actions was she doing that might have hindered her future capability of finding a man to marry? The answer is that it was not quite as important to her as she claims. At least, not when it mattered the most. Women who want to be married and have children should make that a priority when they have the best chance of finding the best man to marry and the best years for her to have children. Actions show far better than words what you truly value. Right now all we know is she claims that she had that as her dream.
