Disclaimer I really meant the overall extreme right wing regressives that has extremely gendered views which include but not limited to the hypergamist groups, FDS, tradwives, female red pillers,Christian fundies, alt right, femininity blogs that have articles cateres toward women/young girls. I understand the title is misleading but for some reason I can’t change it.

They teach that as young girls grew up and get married, they don’t need to be financially independent because alpha masculine men will provide for them. They also encourage young women to marry as soon as possible because her SMV is highest (youth and beauty) rather than emotional maturity, values and goals ( these are things that’s more sustainable in long term). Do they realize that being married won’t stop you from aging? And if men married you primarily based on superficial things, how long will your marriage last?

There nothing wrong with being a SAHP. It’s one thing to quit your job to take care of your baby for few years after you have education and job experiences under your belt. But it appears that tradwives don’t acknowledge these things and just tell women to get married and having career/education is irrelevant because they lives will be forever sponsored by their husbands.

There are few problems with the way tradwives think. In today’s day and age, every adult regardless of gender is going to be responsible for their finances at some point. Even the TRP claims that women initiated majority of divorces it does not mean men won’t leave or initiate divorces. They may get alimony and child support but it may not be enough to sustained their life long term depending on husbands earning or where they live. That mindset is a very poverty driven mindset. I worked long enough at women’s shelter to see the results of long term financially dependency. Ironically many tradwives degrade single welfare moms but some how they think they are immune their destiny because they think their husband will never leave them. Many of these young tradwives have not been married for long enough and they can’t predict unforeseeable circumstances in the future

You should get married based on love not conveniences. It appears that tradwives encourages girls to get marry young without acknowledging the needs, wants, values and goals based on the individual. If you happen to find you soulmate when your young that’s great but it never should be pressured or else you will stuck in a miserable marriage.

Tradwives harp on the fact that men should be masculine and provide all the time. Outside of the tradcon and extremely religious circles, most men in real life don’t feel comfortable constantly taking care of a women financially 1) it’s because most men can’t afford it in this day and age 2) of the men who makes enough that can afford, they see women like that as lazy or gold-diggers. 3) If they do provide for their family it is normally after they been married for few years and had kids and the wife decides temporarily quit work to raise kids and plans/agrees to return to work at some point.

Beauty, sex, domestic skills don’t necessarily stop men from cheating or leaving their wives either but tradwives pretend that is not the case. They love to brag about not working on their social media which is going to be very off putting to potential employers if they had to go back to workforce either by choice or circumstances.
