So many girls my age, 22 give or take a few years get these boyfriends which just dictate the trajectory of their whole life. I have a friend who’s about to graduate and probably going to follow wherever her mediocre boyfriend goes-forget where she wants to go. My roommate, who’s another friend, can’t stand to be single, she broke up with a horrible boyfriend in January and was seeing a new equally weird dude in February who she’s now with. She spends every damn near free moment with him. And of course it won’t last, and she’ll be left without many friends and the need for another man to fill up her free time. Ladies, before any relationship with a man make sure you have a solid foundation of female friends and boundaries about your time and life path. Do not carve out a life that revolves around a man. Protect yourself and foster friendships outside of him, so you won’t be absolutely heartbroken and desperate if you need to leave.
