Damn… I feel called out (that’s a good thing). The last guy I dated said I looked like his ex-wife and pretty much every past girlfriend because he has a type. And I would be on “his” side with things around his ex-wife (well technically they were still married - a huge deal breaker that I’ll never do again) and he would defend her. Totally triangulated us!! The more I look back at that “relationship” (we never got past dating into real relationship territory) the more I realize how manipulative he was.

I had a guy triangulate me with his ex, of course he claimed she had all these jealousy issues only to find out that he was the one with those and he was projecting🤡 he led me on, lovebombed me, didn’t have the balls to end our relationship because he wasn’t over his ex. They still spoke, yikes. I had to be the one to end things with him, and I left feeling hurt, used, and angry. So much time I wasted entertaining LVM in the past🤡

Now any mention of an ex is an automatic red flag, and I block and delete🚩

It’s usually a lie anyways, especially when you can just tell them they look like your thumb. They love to triangulate or make beautiful women feel bad because they are unfortunate themselves. They’ll bring up ex wives, girlfriends from 20 years ago, and act like it matters to you in the end. I actually have a type and I’ve dated a few that looked alike. But the outliers or the fuggos you give a chance to run with it and try to humble you when they’re the ones that did the most to trick you. Moving forward, if anyone man ever pulled that behavior, I’d bounce in a heart beat. All you have to say is you’ve dated taller, better, richer, and their walls crumble. lol The exes they compare you to clearly didn’t work out for a reason.

I can’t even imagine saying shit like that, even if they did look like my ex. First of all, you probably don’t look like her, but bc their brain is fried by porn every woman who is remotely fuckable to them “looks like their ex.”

But I’d never be able to say this shit bc one, if I saw someone that looked like my ex I’d swipe left so fast, even after I’m healed bc it’s an automatic trigger. Two, I don’t have the audacity to say shit like this. Who does? Men. They do. Third though, I wouldn’t be telling someone on OLD anything bc fuck OLD, it’s where LVM can truly put their audacity to practice.

A very very short guy fed me this line years ago in a night club. It didn't work because it was so unbelievable. Like I was 9 inches taller him and way better looking than him.. I was disgusted at him for even trying to hit on me given other circumstances. Looking back, it's so obvious he was trying out PUA pick up lines.

Edit: I was disgusted by him trying to hit on me because I had my arms wrapped around my boyfriend and my face buried into his neck. My feet were killing me and I was waiting for my friend to get back from the bathroom before we left. I felt a tap on the back and assumed it was her. When I turned around and looked down this fucking short bridge troll was trying to hit on me while I was in my boyfriend's arms. Like seriously dude??
