This is awesome, great masculinity. “Toxic masculinity” refers to the idea that men cannot maintain their status as a man if they show anything that can be construed as weakness- grief, fear, insecurity, affection etc. Toxic femininity is the idea that a woman can’t maintain being a proper woman if she shows any behaviour that makes her look strong. Masculinity is not inherently bad, in instances like this article describes, it’s awesome!

I'm all for men's rights but I don't think anyone of you guys knows what toxic masculinity is. Toxic masculinity is the bad parts of "masculinity". Saying boys should never cry and that young men should "man-up" when they are going through hard times is toxic masculinity. I don't see why so many people are fighting against the bad stuff that society puts on men I thought we were against that?

The mere act of satirizing something so wholesome and positive in order to badly make a point about something almost entirely unrelated is itself more an example of toxic masculinity than anything else in this article or thread. This is accented by the rampant downvoting of someone who calls you out for fighting strawman not as a criticism but as an attempt to help support your cause.
