I've heard a couple stories from girls who work at a hospital relating to this. It was humorous to them gossiping about a man's penis but if a group of guys were sneaking a peak at some naked female patient and talking about it, I'm positive they would've been disgusted.

Seeing a lot of questioning "what's the big deal". I get the gender argument but that aside if I found that a nurse or other professional did this to a deceased love one of mine, regardless of gender, I would be upset and already in a state of grief I would be inclined to hurt the perpetrator physically or by law. To those saying it's no big deal, picture it being your 80 year old Grandmother or 18 year old brother and someone's laughing at their body - fair to say it you would demand an explanation and want some action taken.

It's just people blowing off steam. If the guy's dead, he certainly doesn't care. They didn't even disturb the body, they just opened the body bag (according to the article).

If they had actually done something to the body, fair enough, but all they did was admire a corpse's junk.

Can we get worked up about something that actually matters? There are plenty of real issues to handle.
