In Canada 3/10 homeless are women and it caused such a fervor that there was a Federal/Private Sector task force to stop the "systematic oppression".

I've been homeless. 8 years of it. this is bullshit. Id say 10% are female. Don't even get me started on the inequality of it, women get to come and go at the shelter. Men are herded like cattle. A woman goes in and asks for a job they get career training good references and a foot in the door. A man asks for a job they get put on a list of maybe 50-100 guys for maybe 20 jobs a day that pay 10/hr for hard Labour. It goes on and on. And I just realized this post is 9 hours old and apologies for posting so late. This just made me so mad when I read it when it's the whole reason I began following men's rights in the first place

If you're against the SJW feminism mindset, you should be happy this is happening. Only the thickest of people will fail to see how wrong this is, meaning it will cause the average supporters (assuming the average supporter isn't very thick) to distance themselves from the movement.

In other words, this is an instance where the movement has started to destroy itself.

Even the 42% figure is false -- they are almost certainly conflating women living in nice refuges where they share a room with one or two other women with men living on park benches.

What's fucked up is that the argu ment they're making isn't that there are homeless women... it's that there is a disparity. They are agaisnt whatever misguided patriarcal power that is responsible for keepong them from being homeless. It's another form of oppression... they argue.

Devil's advocate: It makes a certain amount of sense to raise awareness of a minority demographic like that if the popular perception is they they don't exist or if they're not being catered to. For example: "42% of rape victims are male"

This is why I keep saying that the MRM must gender its issues. We need a strong focus on male homelessness and narrowing issues by gender to apply to men will help that.

I cant even remember the last time Ive seen a homeless woman. Its possible that Ive never even seen one. Never thought about it until now.
