ChatGPT is amazing and has saved me in many ways. I will literally cut and paste stbxw divorce proposals after reading and ask it to break it down for me and it makes it so easy.

Stbxw sent over a child custody proposal. I have a weird schedule and assumed I wouldn’t get as many days as I wanted. I was going for 50/50 but the proposal had me getting approximately 125 days. I submitted it to ChatGPT and it found a simple change of a few hours and found me probably another 100 days that I didn’t even realize was right under my nose.

Obviously don’t depend on it, but use it as a tool

I just used it for a women who I was dating that decided to "take some space."

I asked what that actually mean. ChatGPT, I think was spot on in saying that she probably slowly emotionally detaching (when I told it about our relationship). It was right. It was good to get somer perspective; albeit I took it all with a grain of salt.

Yeah Ive been using it. I was in therapy up until recently, decided I was okay enough and didnt need it anymore. ChatGPT is handy for those little questions you just want some ideas about.

Early on it was useful for asking my silly "will she come back?" questions to. Cant really ask a person that, didnt feel so stupid asking an AI that I know wont judge me for it.

I dont love AI and dont want to support/use it generally, dont want to support shitty morally bankrupt companies, but it has been useful for me in this scenarion. Will cancel my subscription account once I get to a point where i have no more questions for it. Hopefully soon!

Claude from Anthropic is better and it builds context faster and better.

I did not use it for my divorce.

Yes. I find it useful for procedural sanity checks and which form to file for what. I probably wouldn’t use it for litigation pro se but good to have to parse out thoughts and approaches.
