Just go into it with the idea of making a new friend and have fun. The problem with online is neither of you have any idea if you will find the other attractive. Women always angle and use filters for their online pics, and women base physical attraction off body language, high testosterone cues and if other women are checking you out, not still pics.

If lightening does strike just wait for her to signal she wants you to kiss her (touching you, playing with her hair, displaying her neck) then go for it. If it doesn't keep her as a friend....women love to setup guys with their other single friends.

I was in the same boat recently, I was nervous as hell. Went good. Went on a few more and I got over the nervousness, it passes. Next thing you know you’ll crossing girls off the list and start limiting who you go on a date with.

It is good just to go out. It’s enjoyable even if nothing comes of it. If you approach it with that attitude, it’s only upside.

I wasn’t too excited about my first date, but it was close to my birthday so I was like f**k it and told the waiter to bring me a cake for dessert and sing me happy birthday. The food was good and I had a fun time with a fun story even though the date itself was meh.

Just have fun. I think we get so used to being married that we forget dates, especially first ones aren’t lifelong commitments. You’ll have a great time!
