My ex and I aren't even fully divorced yet. I was not planning on dating at all for a while, because I figured it'd be a distraction while I rebuild my life.

But I met a woman recently, and we hit it off immediately. We have not stopped texting each other for almost a week. Neither of us were looking for connection when we met, but man. We have so much in common it feels like we're the same damn person. We're both science teachers, coach the same robotics league, have similar childhood and relationship stories, same music, and even the same philosophies and moral beliefs. At first I was a little weirded out at how quickly the connection formed, but then I figured "who tf cares" and just went with it.

The downside is I met her online and we live 12 hours apart.

I'm so confused. I feel like it's moving really quickly, especially considering my last relationship lasted 19 years. But I'm also really interested in seeing where this goes and I don't want to mess it up.

Anyone have any sage advice to give me?
