Need some advice on what I should do. Just started the separation process which I don’t want to do. Made mistakes during my 11yr marriage and have been trying to do whatever I could to try and fix things but guess it didn’t work. We met with a mediator earlier this week and honestly was overwhelming. Main thing is that I want my boys to have an as normal life as possible during this. My wife wants to be able to stay in the house but when the mediator brought up the idea of her having to buy me out to keep the house of sell the house that’s the only time she showed any emotion. She keeps telling me we need to figure something out where I feel I shouldn’t have to figure anything out it’s her issue she needs to figure out not mine. She needs to figure out how to either pay me for my half of the house or I’m not moving out. She says she can’t buy me out and still be able to survive all the extras that come with the house with the amount I’m legally obligated to provide her monthly. Am I being unreasonable not wanting saying she needs to figure it out herself? Or should I compromise and not make her buy me out?
