Okay here is my sitch and I need advice. I’ve been divorced three years after 27 years together. It took me a while to detach and I went through all the phase, despair, 304 phase etc. Became semi red pill, devoted life to improving my self, gym, career, kids. Was very happy by myself and had actually sworn off women totally.

Last week went into dentist for a cleaning. They had a temporary dentist do my cleaning. I didn’t see what she looked like because she was wearing a mask, and I couldn’t see her figure because she was behind me. To say we had an instant connection would be an understatemen. If you were a witness to to our conversation you would think we knew each other for years. At the end, I asked for her number. After a hushed conversation where we determined it would not violate ethical guidelines, she gave me her number. I googled her picture and she is gorgeous and very fit. We’ve talked everyday and had to great dates which involved a little kissing and hand holding. I was super nervous before these dates and am somewhat anxious if it takes too long for her To respond. I realize am I am infatuated with her.

Here’s the kicker. It’s mutual. When I left the office, she looked up my patient file to get my phone number in case I didn’t call. When we were on our dates, I caught her hard staring at me when she thought I wasn’t looking. She’s told me how handsome I am (I think I look okay, but in the past some women have told me I’m very good looking) She had also sworn off dating because it sucked. I feel we are love bombing each other but it’s unnessecary because we are so attracted to each other.

In my marriage I was lovebombed and had sex way too early in the relationship. There were some red flags that I should have addressed but the sex was insane and I didn’t want it to stop.

Currently, I feel I want to wait to be intimate because I want to build a strong foundation for a relationship. I am looking for red flags because I want to have feelings for the real person, and not the idealized person I have in my head.We are compatible in every single issue that has been brought up so far.

Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciate. I feel this situation is too good, which makes me nervous, but maybe Im just scarred from how my marriage ended. This would also be my rebound relationship and I know typically they don’t work.
