My favorite was the month after she filed and still lived with me my family refused to even look at her she'd constantly try to talk to people and everyone pretended like she wasn't there, then at least 10 times a day she would ask me to do things like I was still her husband, I'd say ummm let me explain again to you, we are getting divorced so no I won't go get you breakfast and warm your car up. The look on her face was priceless total confusion on why I wasn't her bitch boy anymore

Funny story…. My ex didn’t tell me. The papers were supposed to be delivered like on a Tuesday or Wednesday but weren’t. She didn’t know if I had seen them or not for several days.

We were still sleeping unbelievably in the same bed. I remember we are going to bed and she asks if I had seen any papers from the court. I said no and she’s like oh ok. And I’m like wait you filed? She’s like yeah come to bed and cuddle. I checked the mail and sure enough I guess that day the papers had come. I never slept in the same bed with her ever again after that moment She was really a piece of work.

I say this to say that it’s the least you can do if you ever truly loved someone. Attorneys tell you not to tell though and I know there are beneficial reasons.

Depends on what your goals are, if you think it could be amicable, if she has a tendency to fly off the handle etc.

If she is stable and sane and there's a chance at amicable, I would, though definitely record the convo just in case. The other people she will talk to (fitness and lawyers) will fill her with all sorts of ideas, and you never know what might stick.

My ex was telling people on Facebook that she was going to call the cops on me to get a TRO because I wasn't "cooperating" when I told her I wouldn't leave the house. I did leave before she could call the cops or try to file for a TRO.

Didn't say a word about me filling, and I have video from the doorbell cam of her getting served. It's beautiful.

Well this may get down voted. Unless she is a physical danger to you, which since you live with her doesn’t seem to be the case, it seems cruel to blindside someone like that, when you see them everyday. It seems kinda cowardly not to tell her, then again I don’t know your situation. But you did ask.

I’m pretty sure she will let u know if she has been served lol. Depending on how crazy she is it would probably be a good idea to let her know beforehand especially if you still live together
