There are people of all shapes and sizes, with all variety of other people. Get your standards in check with real women, and you will find someone you click with.

Those statistics are actually not valid. And are taken out of context and purposefully misconstrued. It doesn't mean what you think it means.

When it comes to looks it absolutely is subjective. While another user said there is objectivity when it comes to grooming (being clean, hitting the gym, eat right, dressing well, smelling good etc). Everyone is into different looks.

some women are into Lebron James and some like Harry Styles or Timothy Chalamet. It depends on what kind of women you are attracted to and what they are looking for. Go for who wants you not those that don't.

I recognize not everyone is going to find me attractive. And that's ok. You only need one person and since there are billioooons of people. Chances are, you are going to have more than one person find you attractive.

You will be fine.

Well, it depends what you mean by "subjective".

Both of these things are true:

Certain people will be found more attractive than others ON AVERAGE
A very wide range of people will be found attractive by specific INDIVIDUALS

Honestly my advice is to stop worrying about #1 so much and think more about #2.

Anyone can be “good looking” with some grooming and self care, but attraction is more so about personality, charisma and connection with the other person etc.

People like different things. I don’t find muscles or a height above 6 feet to be attractive at all. I also just don’t really find looks to be that important? Average is better to me. I’m more interested in a potential partner being personable, reliable and trustworthy. I guess one thing I really do care about is hygiene, especially dental health and cleanliness.

It’s hard to say given all the Eurocentric beauty standards being pushed relentlessly not only in the west but also in the east. It’s no longer clear what people “naturally” find attractive vs. what they find attractive after social engineering.

women only find 20% of men attractive

As a man, I only find 20% of women attractive, so I’m not one to point fingers. I don’t actually know what women find attractive or if they find anyone attractive. Women on this sub (notallwomen) have described attraction that sounds more like friendship compared to what men describe as attraction. If that’s true, you needn’t worry about the 80/20 claim for women.

Looks are absolutely subjective… TO A POINT.

Meaning, there are people who are undeniably beautiful and people who are undeniably… not.

You have to consider that people have personal tastes and “types”, therefore just because somebody is “beautiful” doesn’t mean that they’re going to be everyone’s type. But to deny the person is attractive would be ridiculous. There are women who I admit are attractive but they just don’t “do it” for me because of my personal preferences. But for me to deny they’re attractive would be silly.

Also, just because someone is not attractive generally speaking, it does not mean someone won’t find them attractive to a degree.

The way I see, there is a mostly objective part about looks (specially regarding to grooming) but a lot of it is mostly subjective.

That 20% thing comes from OKCupid.

I get fuck all matches online, but many find me attractive in person. Don't worry about this rule dude there are plenty of ugly guys who are smashing like crazy.
