After insisting that no, xyz wasn't where I said, I'd walk into the pantry, slightly move a box, and there it was.

If he had to do more than glance at the shelf, that was too much work for him. This happened dozens of times during our marriage, and is just one of the many reasons why I divorced his ass.

I lived with someone like this once. Except when he said he couldn't find something I replied with "well I don't know then". I refused to clean up his messes, no matter how many days he left them there. I cleaned my messes and left the rest. I once had to resort to carrying my toilet paper in and out of the bathroom for several days when I realized that he wasn't replacing the empty roll.

He got over that fake incompetence when I refused to play along. There's no reason why we should play stupid games.

When it was a kid I had to live with my dad time. He really thought I was this fucking wife servant or something and I would know where all his shit was all the time. So to break him of this bullshit every time he asked for anything even if I knew where it was I said "I don't know". Eventually he stopped asking and learned how to find his own stuff. Bye
