A lot of their "social skills" will seem a bit off, even though they may be superficially charismatic, e.g. through lifting and paying attention to their clothes and haircut. Getting a hang of external charismatic features is easy, but social behaviour is harder to learn and requires more intelligence, so that's where they're likely to lag behind. So they over-rely on rehearsed tics. They might use your name a lot (establishes an artificial sense of friendliness) or pretend to misremember it (to seem not too invested in you), they'll initiate physical contact that seems kinda rehearsed and weird. They throw generic interview questions at you, as well as one-liners that are again obviously calculated to project a confident image but don't quite match with the situation.

In general, trying to seem like they already have influence over you. Like they mention an event they're going to, you mention you had also planned to attend, later on they say it's funny how easy it was for them to convince you to join them. I have no idea who responds to this positively, but they do think cockiness is charming, so that's what they're going for.

Overconfident joking around, especially the agree and amplify BS. If you don't get straight answers from a guy and he's clearly just trying to be clever while evading the question, just leave the room and never think of him again, this is a person who won't add any value to your life.

A few more:

You get a constant feeling that you're being evaluated and that he expects you to impress him. Instead of talking about interesting subjects normally, laughing, being naturally expressive and getting somewhere in a conversation, it feels like he's mostly playing a game to keep you in his frame, and the content of the conversation doesn't matter.

He's forgetful about things you previously talked about. He might tell you the same anecdotes many times, or not notice if you accidentally tell him something you already told him. This is because he doesn't care to get to know you, because he has many other women he talks to, and again, because the content of social interactions doesn't matter to him, only how they influence his social status.

Lifting too much is sometimes a sign, or like obviously lifting with a certain body type in mind instead of his health and a normal, wholesome attractiveness. Overly buff men are overly buff because they want to appear dominant and subtly threatening, and have worked hard for it.

They might wax about the importance of empathy, openness, and vulnerability. I think this is because they want you to feel like you can be FraGiLe and vUlnEraBlE in front of them, open up more quickly about intimate things, and give them sex in an emotionally heightened state. If a man legitimately appreciates these things, you'll notice it through his actions and him being a kind person, not because he professes these as his values. The latter is usually manipulation.

They neg you, they're up in everybody's inbox on Facebook and OLD, they have a known reputation of being a womanizer, that's just some of the main ones.

First off, if you follow FDS you will repel men who follow Red Pill strategies, because you 1) won’t pay on dates 2) demand dates, not “hangouts” 3) don’t “put out” 4) block men when they won’t leave you alone

As long as you don’t buckle under the pressure they put on, they’ll give you up as a bad job. But, here’s a few of the tells if you want to find out faster:

-talks about Stoicism

-makes fun of other guys to make himself seem better

-negging. Any sign of that and you need to drop him.

-takes a lot of pictures with you throughout the night (way of compiling evidence in case he has to stand against you in a rape trial)

-Hyper masculine, make a point to act “manly” when it may not come naturally

-“listen, smile, nod, agree — then do what the fuck you were going to do anyway” is a quote they love. If he agrees to respect a boundary and then doesn’t, drop him.

Bonus: they like a lot of “school of life” videos on YouTube, this isn’t a giant tell (I also like school of life) but combined with other things, yeah, be careful

I think the best way to know is to spend time in the redpill sub.

For each man you date (even men around you), look for behaviors that seem to align with red pill ideology, and recognize the ones that do not align with red pill. The whole "breaking frame" is a good one to check. For example, how do they respond to certain situations? If there is a lack of reaction in where in they should have been remorseful, comforting or shown any type of emotion? If they continuously don't, either they are an autist or "holding frame".

Another one that I noticed was that they like to throw equality around alot. Like its an excuse to not be considerate. i.e not open the door behind them (let it slam in your face), would watch you struggle lift something because you are a woman, things that you would do for any human.

This topic actually goes pretty deep. And it will be good practice to start noticing mens interactions anywhere. There have been some coworkers, "friends" and random men that I can bet anything they are some degree of redpill. For example, I can just be working and a man can just walk in and start negging me like crazy. This was a regular so I saw that he treated the other ladies normal? or at least that's what I observed. I knew it had nothing to do with me cause I could feel his disgusting gaze, wanted to knock me down a bunch of levels so he can have a chance.

If you decide to look at that vile sub also visit the sub ex red pill. Definitely a palate cleanser. I think there was a post on this a while back. Basically a bunch of ex red pill admitting that you can never form a functioning relationship, honestly gave me a bunch of laughs cause the scrotes had it coming.

More subtle indicators:

Big into self-improvement. This doesn't mean he IS red pill, but red pillers call TRP self-improvement and claim that's what it's about, not being pricks to women. It's a flag, not a tell
Compliance testing you
Negs, particularly ones that are trying to prompt you to defend yourself
Love bombing
Quick physical escalation (kino)

Honestly you're best to just get really into TRP yourself and learn it. Be aware that many of their tactics do work. You need to monitor your responses during a date as well as his behaviour. Also some stuff they claim women do you can use to your advantage. Reading about their moaning about 'shit tests' helped me to actually hone and develop the skill to 'shit test' in a way that gets the information and view on character I want when on a date with a guy. FDS comes first, but you need to know your enemy to spot them. Turn off the emotion when you read it (because you will and should feel repulsed reading it). Try to read it like a man who thinks women are lesser and wants to get laid.

Watch their eyes. You will notice that the emotions they show do not reach them. It's a sign that everything they do is a performance and you are just another character in the show.

Back when I had stronger pickme tendencies I briefly dated someone who was "red pilled", though I don't think he necessarily followed the PUA aspect of it to a T. Still, he wasn't worth my time. I didn't realise it until I saw some of his online activity, and it immediately became apparent. He linked to a video from his liked playlist on youtube on social media. I think he did it by mistake because he had liked a lot of videos that were extremely misogynistic. Think mgtow youtube. Oh and of course there was the usual crowd: Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, Milo Yiannopoulos, etc.

I avoided dating men for awhile after that. I also took stock of what I noticed about him that might help me avoid it in future. Unfortunately he was very charming and he actually came across as quite geniune. Basically it all came down to politics. He did not say he was right wing, but he definitely expressed some right wing views. He said that he didn't think white privilege was a thing (laughable). He also liked Elon Musk and defended the union busting activities. If a guy has opinions like this, it naturally follows that he has ridiculous opinions on women as well.

I think finding out their politics is very important. They could in theory pretend to be more left wing, but it's not an easy facade to maintain. Note that I'm not saying left wing men are safe. I'm saying a lot of red pillers are right wing so that's at least one filter you can apply. Certainly it isn't foolproof, but it can help.

And it goes without saying that this is all the more reason to withhold sex.

Would weird racist comments and conspiracy theories count?

It seems to me that a great deal of red pillers ascribe to a lot of the same beliefs as neo-nazis... bizarre ideas about Jewish people, obsession with IQ scores, beliefs in racist ideas, weird conspiracy theories, weirdly strong nationalistic ideas, belief in pseudo-science like human anthropology and evolutionary psychology.

Also this isn't red pill specific but one time I spotted a PUA in the wild by something he said. He asked me and a few other girls some weird question about our three favorite animals, then he tried to tell us what our answers say about our personality. Something like that. It reminded me of something I read when I flipped through The Game. It was about how girls love it when you ask them stupid questions like that and then relate it to their personality, like some weird version of astrology.

Anyway I straight up said "That sounds like something out of a PUA book" and he looked crushed. The look on his face was priceless. I found out later from a mutual friend that he was into that sort of thing and made a sport of picking up women. Called it.

Moral of the story: learn from the source.
