Insecure men have a big problem with women showing strong emotions such as anger. They cannot handle it. Anger is discouraged in girls from early on and sometimes blind obedience is encouraged.

If a girl is assertive she is called bossy. If a woman is assertive, she is called bitchy. It's a world where you're damned of you do, damned of you don't for women. Time to change that narrative.

I believe all emotions have a place or a purpose, that's why we have them. And anger and hate can be beneficial as well because they protect us in certain circumstances.

It was my anger that lead me to this sub, and freed me from a lot of things like religion and my family's toxic behavior. Being sad instead of angry just makes it easier for you to get manipulated.

The person who made that quote "don't fight hate with hate" and people who try to push it on others are self-righteous pricks. Acting like their unwillingness to do anything to better their lives is something to aspire to. To me, it's nothing but a way to drag people to their level.

I hate that nowadays in order to be seen as a good or a non-hateful person, you should be devoid of negative emotions. People now have the nerve to equate a character flaw to a negative emotion, rather than actual toxic behavior. They need to stop ffs.

Yeah, and nobody ever tells a dominant group not to fight hate with hate. Because one of the biggest forms of privilege that we’ve created is in this world, is the privilege to get (and visibly express) anger.
