Really. Stop wasting your time in a relationship you're having consistent doubts in. Your doubts are usually your intuition telling you that something is amiss and you aren't being entirely fulfilled in the relationship.

Having feelings of doubt also means that you probably realize that you're compromising and lowering your standards in some way to fit the needs of the other person. These standards could mean anything from levels of communication, expectations, and general concepts about your future together.

Unless you're dating casually, having feelings of doubt about a future together is an extremely important point and should not be overlooked in any circumstance. Sure, spending time with this person may be enjoyable. They've been respectful, you've met their family, they seem to have a good head on their shoulders. However, you just can't agree on things for the long haul. An example is deciding where to live (once married). He's more of a country man, and you're more of a city girl? He most likely won't budge on this.

If an example like that instills doubt in you, the relationship won't likely progress into something mutually agreeable.

Whenever you have doubts, listen to them. You WILL be able to move on. You WILL be able to meet someone who shares the same goals as you. You WILL meet someone who is more aligned with your views.

Remind yourself of how wonderful you are with positive affirmations.

  1. I AM smart.
  2. I AM beautiful.
  3. I AM a hardworker.
  4. I DO have a big heart.
  5. I DESERVE not to settle.

Doubts = settling. If you decide to stay, that's exactly what "doubts" are.

Men are so quick to pull the plug on relationships when they have any inkling of doubt. Why is it, as women, we're expected to work through those "doubts" and settle for less than we deserve?

No thanks.
