The world does women a great disservice in telling them romantic love is the most important thing in life. So much that they settle for a mediocre relationship. Or even stay with an abusive man out of love.

There are so many more important things in life like respect, dignity, peace of mind, and financial independence. When we feel the importance of these things and allow ourselves to be content with these things we will not settle for less than we deserve.

I literally just had a guy who I hit it off really well on the first two dates tell me he wanted to keep it platonic because he wasn't feeling sparks and I came SO CLOSE to being like well sometimes spark grow, gimme another chance! And then stopped and was like nah nah nah. I don't wanna be invested in someone who isn't 100% invested in me!

This is the gutter literally the gutter of low self esteem and self worth for any human being much less a woman. First of all why would you deal with some one who ghosted you and why would you reach out to that man again and beg him for anything. Secondly you both admitted there was no spark but you still wanted to stay so both of them (but especially the woman) settled for less than what they deserve. Third all of this because you had a “good” time girl you can have a good time with literally anyone whether it be a man , friends , or family or shit you can have a good time by yourself it means nothing when it’s all said and done if there is no connection between y’all or spark. My heart goes out to her May she realize her worth and beauty and realize that she deserves someone who truly has a spark with her and a genuine non forced connection.
