Idk what would have happened if this man that was running behind me had not tripped over a chain.

When he started getting closer, I figured maybe he was just injured from falling (lol) and had to slow down, I was only about 20 feet away from my car when I realized he was following me. Every direction I qas going he was taking. It got to the point where I had to run to the middle of the street and ask this person to help me. The man was going around the car in the middle of the street too. They drove off. It was only 8pm and I had to run through traffic and bang on the bus to let me in. The man ran across the street too.

I called the cops and their best advice was to go back to my car and then call them when I was there.. I went tk the police station to see if there was any way they could help me and thwy said the same thing.

Luckily my mom has security guards so I had to Uber back to work and have them escort me to my car. The questions I was asked by the police dispatcher were so ridiculous I won't even repeat them.

Men have yelled obscenities at me while driving. The one last week was so shocking that I just kind of froze.

After these situations happen im so angry at myself for not standing up for myself. I kmow fright or flight is real but it just makes me so angry that men could get away with this. I've had men stand in front of me and start masturbating. When I called rhe cops they pulled the,"are you sure he was masturbating? Maybe he was just fixing his pants".

I know I cant categorize all men as being this way because not all men are. But as the days go by I really feel like the verbal and physical abuse from men is getting worse. This is not the first time I've been followed but it's definitely been the scariest because I just felt so helpless. Idk just wanted to get it out and reminding everyone to stay aware and safe 🌼
