He was a gentleman? Where? The one who asks pays for the date, if he wants to get technical. I know the economy tanked and people are short on money. But if he’s quibbling over $20, he doesn’t need to be dating.

The minute the receipt was thrust into my face I would have put a hand up and asked for silence, paid my half and tell him to never contact me again. He’s doing entirely too much talking for 20 dollars. I had a man bring me jewelry on a first date tf? He’s gross. And then he got mad because she told him he’s going to be a friend? Played victim because of her “stank” attitude? Why bother arguing with him?

Is it just me or did it almost seem like he was threatening (or intimidating???) her?? Raising his voice like that?? I’d just slam a 20$ bill on the table and run away from him as fast as I could. And then block him of course. Not risking my safety over some cheapass scrote.
