I’ve seen men answer this question with: “no ifs. It is on me”, or “if you show up”. Which I think are exactly what you want to see. And no need to worry about further rounds, since you’re not getting hammered with a stranger on a first date.

I see this answer so often. I’ve even see “the first round is on me if... the first round is on you”? Which doesn’t even make sense! And I’ve seen other men respond with “it’s always on me!” which is much more appealing frankly. I do like hinge because I feel like they really expose themselves quick when they’re forced to write about themselves.
